How to Travel Safely in 2020

How to Travel Safely in 2020

It is no news that the coronavirus is still causing disruptions around the world. While moving everything upside down, it has caused several restrictions on travel as well. Most people are reluctant to travel until extremely necessary. Whereas, some believe that the virus is here to stay, and it is better to adapt with it. It is recommended to avoid going to sydney private tours with a large number of people during this global calamity. However, solo trips for soul rejuvenation or personal purposes can be made with safety measures. Here’s how to travel safely in 2020:

Safety Equipment

Make the habit of carrying masks, sanitizer, disinfectants, wipes, etc. as the safety equipment. Make sure that you’re wearing masks at all times. They say prevention is better than cure, which is why we need to take all the necessary precautionary measures to stay safe and secure. The previous cases have proven that prevention in fact is the only cure we have against coronavirus. Therefore, it is your responsibility as an individual to stay safe during these difficult times and take care of the safety of others as well by sanitizing and wearing masks.

Travel Restrictions

Another fact about the ongoing situation is that some areas are relatively safer than others. Regions that were not so vigilant about the safety measures initially were the ones that were the most affected including The US and UK, etc. After the increase in the number of people affected, these areas were compelled to put travel restrictions, ultimately closing borders. So, before making travel plans, you need to inquire about the travel restrictions in the area you’re planning to make a trip.

Maintain Distance!

Another very important precaution yet often overlooked is maintaining social distance. People forget to do so as we are prone to live in proximity with our loved ones. But to ensure your own safety it is necessary that you remain at least a six feet distance from each other. While traveling, you need to be careful as to maintaining appropriate distance.

Beware of Foods and Wash your Hands Frequently

Everyone likes to try new things while traveling. Food remains on top of that list. Every region has a special cuisine and while it is very tempting to those things, you need to be socially aware and responsible. Make sure that the food you’re consuming is safe, and again, keep following the precautionary measures.

Traveling is a therapeutic experience. It is essential when one is looking to break the monotony. According to psychologists, it  is highly recommended to take some time to travel in order to keep your mind healthy and happy. It keeps one on track. At the same time, in the light of the recent situation, you are required to follow SOPs and precautions while traveling. A small negligence at your end can harm you and others really badly, which is why it is necessary to be responsible and take care. Stay safe and happy traveling!

Someone might ask me: “Why organize the wedding photo shoot in detail?”. Couldn’t we skip the entire organizational phase and see each other directly on the wedding day? Isn’t it certainly convenient to improvise and take pictures of what is happening? Answer: NO!

Well, this “impromptu” approach is not for me and I do not recommend it to anyone. In addition, the couple of future newlyweds who for the first time find themselves organizing a wedding are often found in the balloon.

I work at weddings as a photographer, especially in Lecce and in the province, and I understand that planning a wedding photo shoot does not mean following the lineup drawn up days before to the letter but to give a guideline, identify some fundamental points. To this end, it serves to work harmoniously with other professionals and to put everyone, including the photographer, in a position to do their job or task well during the wedding day.

In my professional approach to the wedding photo and video shoot, I prefer direct contact with the spouses: without the intercession of third parties, I can understand the future spouses and offer the best service.

For this purpose, in organizing the wedding photo shoot , I start from two fundamental assumptions:

  1. Spouses usually find themselves for the first time in their life to deal with the organization of such an important event and their decisions must accommodate those of the hired professionals. Here then are some guidelines on how to organize the wedding photo shoot can be very useful.
  2. If we photographers have a schedule, a check list of things to do with times and places, numbers and contacts, we can minimize the risk of inconveniences and, should they arise, be able to deal with them in a detached and professional way. On the other hand, we wedding photographers are the only ones who follow the bride and groom for the whole day of their wedding and, at the same time, those who experience the event with greater detachment (due precisely to the fact that for us it is a job!). Regarding the useful advice for photographers, I wrote a very interesting article that highlights the importance of planning and organizing a wedding photo shoot. You can read WEDDING ACCESSORY PHOTOGRAPHIC SERVICES: WHAT TO CHOOSE AND WHAT TO AVOID .

When the couple choose their wedding photographer, they should establish a relationship of collaboration and mutual trust with him. When the bride and groom come to my office in Lecce to sign the contract for the wedding photo shoot and chat about their choices, I always try to put them at ease and bring them in a position to immediately envision the scenario that will arise on the day of wedding.

Spring is approaching and so is the wedding season . In the coming months we will have the opportunity to participate in the wedding of some friend and therefore we must be ready to immortalize that unforgettable day in the best possible way.
And if our reputation as photographers precedes us, it could also happen that some friend entrusts us with the task of official photographer.

Let’s not forget that our photographs could still be used as a particular gift to our friends, without the inadequacy of the images made by the professional photographer.

  1. Create a “List of images”
If you are formally involved in the photographic preparation of the wedding, the main advice is to try to plan the shots : together with the future spouses think about the shots you need to take, especially if the family is involved.

In the confusion of the wedding one could forget about the grandmother or the distant relative who rarely meets: there is nothing worse than realizing the next day that there is no photograph of the couple with the great-grandmother!

  1. Family photo coordinator for wedding photography
If the wedding involves many people, ask the bride and groom to name one or more people who will help you coordinate the shots : gather the friends of the groom and bride, relatives, parents, witnesses, …

Ppeople go everywhere, they don’t know each other, the family dynamics at play are different and people are in a “festive spirit” (and, sometimes, the “spirit” they have. drunk!) to the point where it can be quite chaotic . Someone to help you might be indispensable.

  1. Explore the “locations”
Visit the locations of the different places where the big day will take place, if they are new to you. To have an idea of the best positions for the shots and to know how the light might come into play.
